SAVE A THOUGHT Save a thought for the lonely Spare a tear for the sad. For the loser will not sleep, All the night he will weep And be lonely. Don't you Turn off your mind to their crying, For you may be the next. But don't try to understand, Don't try to take their hand Or they'll blame you. Mist that clouds your vision. Thoughts that always fill your mind. For their ghosts you will hear call, You'll be lonely after all, And you'll be crying.

about

Recorded January 1969.

Having not played any gigs together for a few months, the band got together in January 1969 to record some of Graham's songs. In the case of most of the songs, Dave Mogg and Dave Morris had to learn the material immediately prior to recording. However, "On Monday night", "After all she said" and "Mercy, Mercy (where can she be)" had sometimes been featured in the Regime's stage performances. Malcolm was featured on many of the tracks although he had not been part of the band since the summer of 1967.

With the exception of "Save a thought", the band was not particularly happy with the recordings.
